Substantial niche creative for-profit business projects like this one — six books and accompanying multimedia, events, etc. on technical subjects for general and professional readers — don't write, print, produce, publish, promote or sustain themselves, and at no cost. They need the effort and expense of conception, gestation, birth and upbringing.
And looking forward to summer / fall 2026 when the six books are presently expected to be published and their extras produced, Anatexis Media is expected to be a substantial ongoing publishing, multimedia and events business.
To fund all this, including before significant sales revenue, there are two approaches.
THE CAMPAIGN: Below is a gofundme DONATE box. Within that box you can scroll down to the gofundme DONATE button. My gofundme page here has a nice description of the project. Thanks so much: any donation would be really appreciated!
EXPENSES: Further down this page I list some general, production and technical expenses: how your donation will be used as I write the books and prepare the project's extras.
REWARDS FOR DONORS: Every donor will be acknowledged by name (and amount if appropriate) on this website. Every donor of £100 will receive:-
a hard copy of the project book of your choice autographed by me (sent by courier at our expense)
permanent membership of Anatexis GoFundMe Club, entitling you to a permanent 25% discount off all project products.
Every donor of any amount over £100 is invited to email me — rszrabe@protonmail.com — to personally discuss additional ways in which I can express my thanks.
USE OF SURPLUS: Donated funds surplus to the financial requirements of producing the books and the extras will be used to sustain the project going forward.
Anatexis Media is a for-profit business enterprise. It is not a charity. It is presently not incorporated. Its business plan anticipates incorporation in an appropriate jurisdiction at an appropriate time: probably quite soon, during the present writing and production stage.
If you fancy buying shares in the forthcoming corporation, that might be possible. Key points:-
This is a solid viable information business initiative with significant existing, mature, receptive niche markets, locally and globally, of clearly identifiable, easily reachable regular folks and professionals (lawyers, accountants, law enforcement, regulators, journalists, writers, commentators, human rights activists etc.)
The project's products will be of high quality, nicely branded, meritorious, easily recognised, readily understood, attractive, practically useful and sustainable. Intelligently monetised and attractively priced, Anatexis Media products are likely to be in demand in its various niche markets
Further fitting titles — meaning more books, more multimedia, more events, more niche markets, more sales, more communities — are likely to be added as the enterprise develops
The financial projections and business simulations are prudent, firm and positive.
If you're interested to own a piece of Anatexis Media, email Richard J. Szrabe to start a discussion. (This is not a solicitation, invitation or offer of any kind in any jurisdiction.)

video equipment (including a not too fancy camcorder; maybe some simple PTZ equipment)
a few laptops and big screens to facilitate productivity
a long table and a desk chair with wheels
What I won't be buying during the writing stage:-
design: already done
logo, branding: already done
market research: the project's principal niche markets are already clear
writing services
editing services: a good author of a technical book doesn't want or need an editor (anyway, no editor should breathe on a technical book unless he knows the subject better than the author)
formatting, typesetting services: a proficient author lays out his own technical books exactly as he visualises them, and knows how to do it
social media anything: I don't do conventional social media and never will
google ads
audio book conversion: sorry but the books are too intricate (tables, footnotes, illustrations, relevant visual formatting etc.)
bookstore distribution: too expensive
printing, packing and despatch (mail, courier) of ordered books: these costs will be covered in the prepaid price. Every hard copy will be printed on demand (except review and event copies: see expenses above). No stock
scattergun speculative marketing (the chains of speculation are ridiculous)
SEO and similar services
