'Estate management' is my generic term for the proper functions of those functionaries, necessary because
'estate administration', the conventional official phrase (see eg Administration of Estates Act 1925):-
- doesn't exhaustively describe or delineate estate management functions, and doesn't correctly describe some of them (unless you take the view that everything done to an estate by its estate manager is merely 'administration'. That just isn't the right ubiquitoscriptum and it engenders various misconceptions and misunderstandings, especially in relation to the estate manager's functions concerning unfinished front-office business, the conduct of which goes well beyond mere stagnant 'administration' and the mental purview of the estate manager lacking the necessary specialisation — this issue overlaps with the absurdity of appointing a lawyer as estate manager especially where that business exists and needs doing)
- misleadingly insinuates to the simpleton rationalist that they are performed only by an administrator formally so called. (Does an executor execute the will or administer or manage the estate?)

In other words, we're dealing with a major fundamental embedded terminological mess and an intellectually craven culture that has failed to sort it out.

WHY?

To readably, intelligibly put inheritance crime on the map where it belongs. A much neglected, misunderstood subject of huge economic significance globally. No equivalent text.
